David Floyd

David is Managing Director of Social Spider CIC, a small social enterprise based in Walthamstow, East London. He has carried out research on social investment for Third Sector Research Centre and the Ministry of Justice. He recently worked with Social Enterprise UK to write, Social Investment Explained, a guide to social investment for charities and social enterprises commissioned by Big Lottery Fund. David is a non-executive director of Significant Seams CIC and Inpress, and a member of the governing council of Social Enterprise UK. He has written about social enterprise for The Guardian, The Young Foundation and Pioneers Post, and writes the social enterprise blog, Beanbags and Bullsh!t.
Dan Gregory

Dan works as an independent advisor under the banner of Common Capital. He used to work for the Treasury and the Cabinet Office as well as delivering government-backed funds investing in the social sector. Over the last few years has undertaken a range of policy work for Social Enterprise
UK, the Social Economy Alliance, NCVO, Co-operatives UK and others as well
as more practical work for voluntary and community, mutual and social
enterprises across the country, particularly in the South West.
Nikki Wilson

Nikki Wilson is an independent consultant who has spent the past 12 years working in the charity and social enterprise sector. Alongside experience managing a portfolio of social investments, Nikki has worked in grant making and assessment, and worked within a number of charities as a project manager, and accountant. With a good understanding of the varied finance and resourcing needs of social sector organisations, Nikki has a strong interest in supporting the development of new ways to meet these requirements. She is also interested in skills development and has recently trained as an Action Learning Set facilitator. Nikki is based in Essex.
